Peter Farrelly

Peter was born in Germany into an army family who moved to settle in Devon when he was 4 years old. He went to boarding school (All Hallows followed by Downside School) and then he joined the Army. Peter was commissioned into the Scots Guards and served for 23 years. He fought in the Falklands War and served on four operational tours in Northern Ireland where he was awarded an MBE. He loved every minute of his time in the Armed Forces but in 2001 he felt that God was calling him to leave the Army.

In 2001 Peter went to work for Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland. In 2005 he went to work as a full time Bursar at Newton Prep school in London. During this time Peter and Noni planted and co-led Kingston Vineyard and were its founding Senior Pastors from September 2003 – March 2021. They started the first Growbaby whilst at Kingston Vineyard. Peter left full time employment at Newton Prep in March 2021 having been most unwell with Covid-19.

Peter and Noni have been married for 36 years and have three grown up children. They currently live on a narrowboat called Barbarella and are travelling the waterways of the UK. With Noni, Peter is now putting his energy into advancing Growbaby International.
